Namaste
The Sacredness within in me pays respect to you honouring the Sacredness within you.
This is an ancient greeting that is timeless and
conveys so much.
The longest journey we may take in Life is from the
Head to the Heart (Sioux Indian saying)
Below is a photo of Uluru a source of inspiration
and encouragement to many on life's pathways.
Incredibly beautiful, strong, majestic, calming.
Yoga is a wonderful Science leading to growth on multiple levels: Body Mind and Spirit. I have been practicing Yoga for over 60 years and Teaching for 24 years and can attest to it's many benefits. I have a Diploma of Yogic Studies and Yoga Teacher Training Level 2 and have attended Ashrams in Australia and India as a part of ongoing accreditation and learning. Yoga can provide a pathway of refinement and growth on all aspects of our being.
Classes combine a balance of Asana (postures), Pranayama (breath), Meditation and Yoga Nidra (relaxation).. Leading to improved strength, flexibility, awareness and harmony. Classes are suitable for new and current practitioners. COVID-19 requirements in place as specified by Health Authorities.

Class Times:
I have had to cancel Term 3 2024 Classes because I have been ill with cellulitis which can be quite serious and has to be properly treated and medicated. I am coming good now. Resting up and getting back to my normal daily yoga practice and activities is my current focus.
So no classes until next year I need the time to come into balance.
I intend to resume Classes in Term 1 2025 on:
Friday 7 February from 9.15am to 10.30am.
Yoga and Meditation are ways of embracing life in a positive way and the aspects, challenges and learning that can occur. The recordings below are of Yoga Nidra relaxation, and it can be practiced lying or sitting. Ujjayi Pranayama is a breathing practice which is calming and centering and can be used at any time, in times of stress, low energy or as a lead in to meditation.
I have written a number of poems over the years. I include three favorites of mine on 'Love' and it's different yet vital aspects and 'Connections' inspired by a walk in the nearby dunes and 'Acceptance' an experience with migrating birds at nearby Thompson's Creek estuary in the area shown in the above photo. I hope to create a book of my poems past, current and in formation during 2024
Love
Love is like the sunlight
falling like heavenly rays
coming from unknown sources
brightening up our days
bringing a message of hope
A pathway to wise choices
empowerment to know
and the ability and sense to do.
Unconditional in it's essence
bringing a multitude of gifts
for us to receive and give
with an attitude of selflessness
lightness to our footsteps
joy emanating from our heart
healing what has befallen on us
and tied us to the ground
to rise up again renewed
embraced in Tenderness
inspired by the power of Love.
Enabled by loving care
direct from Heavenly places
healing precisely placed
and gently grounded once more
now once again moving freely
inspired, unencumbered, unbound.
A channel of Blessing
to Self and others
true Self emergent
ego stepping back
conscious, awake, connected
like a river flowing free
from ones Source on to the Sea
gaining strength and confidence
as we follow life's journey.
going with the flow.
Connections
Walking over picturesque estuarine land
bathed in sunlight
gentle breeze blowing
taking in the beauty of the moment
I spy two Swamp Harriers
eagles in miniature
swooping hovering, hunting as a pair
one flying high, one flying low
mirroring each others movements
in perfect communication
as one in the hunt, as one in survival
togetherness personified
lessons from nature
renewed, inspired I return to
my partner, my lover, my friend
to communicate in thought, word and touch.
Acceptance
Sitting quietly
reflecting
observing
the incoming tide
my Love and I
warmed by suns rays.
Shy Plovers
gathering
fossicking
skipping
across the sand
they dart.
Suddenly
they are very close
ignoring us
trusting us.
Closer they gather
swirling around us in a circle
priviliged we watch
experience
enthralled witnesses
to acceptance.
